General informationThis (Jan-May 2002) is the last time Music and the
Moving Image 2 runs in its present form. It is only open to W300
and W330 students, or to other undergraduates and postgraduates with
the necessary musical literacy (see prerequisites).
Next year (Jan-May 2003, Deo et Pentagone volentibus)
this module will be replaced by Composing for the Moving Image.
Good aural and notation skills will also be essential if you want to
register for the new module. You will also have to have followed Music
and the Moving Image which will cover the same ground as the current
Music and the Moving Image 1. Music and the Moving Image 2 is very much a skills-based
module. Much of it is taught by outside professionals who are invited
in to lecture. Otherwise, teaching is delivered either in tutorial or
seminar form. You MUST consult the
current timetable every week to check exactly what is going to
happen on Monday morning! Prerequisites for MUSI 224If you want to follow this module you must have already
completed Music and the Moving Image 1 (MUSI 223).
In order to follow this module you must have good aural and notational
          skills.
